Miniature, oval in oval brass frame with top ring hanger. Frame engraved ‘Duchesse de Longueville’ (above), ‘Petitot’ (below). Cream brocade back. Signed ‘Petitot’ below mid right edge. 11.61 x 8.56 cm. (b) Case, wood bi-valve covered in green sharksin (out) worn red velvet (in). 12.35 x 9.2 cm. Probable wall decoration.
