Totemic wooden rattle; globular form, face on one side, killer whale (?) design on other; face is bird - owl, eagle, or hawk; made of alder. Killer whale design very doubtful (fide S. Weikel, 1964). Painted red, black, and 2 shades of blue. Bird and alder identified by Charles Brown.
