Description:
Enamel washbasin. The white-ground is stenciled with red inscriptions on the interior wall. A blue bowstring defines the rim. It was made in 1979 as a retirement gift of People’s Liberation Army 305-22 squad (?). Acquisition data: Gift from Wang Jin, Palace Museum colleague. 2008-04-09. Mr. Wang said his father received the washbasin when he retired from the PLA.
