Description:
Tiles, stone ware, glaze; blue-green, 13 1/2" square, 1 1/2" thick; Pierced grillwork; a floral motif, center. Openwork tile, ceramic; square, 4 cm. thick, hollow, with openwork design: floral medallion at center, surrounded by 4 'brace' mark like arms. Ju-i scepter heads on inside corners, notched on outside corners. Green to blue-green glaze, very worn and scratched. Traces of mortar on un-glazed edge. 35cm. square, 4cm thick. China Ceramic, mold formed. Green to blue-green glaze. Openwork tile for architectural and garden use.
