8-1708 appears to have rested on handle of 8-1701 in tomb. Smaller jug, wire twist, etc.. Description from Matteucig (1951): Pitcher; height: 6.2 cm; height, to top of handle: 8.2 cm; diameter: 7.5 cm (see Matteucig's plate XI, 7). Gray impasto. Clay and surface as in no. 8-1707; shape very similar; decoration the same; on shoulder, additional punched holes filled with lead.
