Description:
Rug, mafrash. Very bright and colorful, using triangle patterns, but very sloppily made. Orange, yellow-orange, and red-orange predominate. Also red, maroon, pink, and green with some blue and black. White cotton interspersed throughout. selvage warps doubled, but edge is uneven. One end chain/weft twining: it's pulling out. Other fringe is looped and is therefore probably the start of the piece. Z-plied. Commercial dye. Tapestry weaving technique, 12 picks per inch.
