- Description:
- China. Bowl, porcelain, with overglaze enamel decoration. Squat bell, or tulip shape: wide flared out rim flange on globular body, narrow short foot. Exterior has representation of Chinese cabbage design covering all of surface in thick opaque white, and mottled light and dark green with black detail, spots of iron-red and trraces of gilt. Interior has peach and bat medallion at center; and two flowers and two birds opposite each other on rim. Gilt edge. Illegible seal mark on foot base in iron-red. Height 5.4 centimeters; diameter 12.2 centimeters.
