China, Fukien province, Te-hua attributed. Libation cup, porcelain, 'blanc-de-Chine'. Rhinoceros horn derived shape. Cylindrical base and pedestal to flared out, oblong, vertically ribbed sides. Molded high-relief decoration: young and old dragon chasing a flaming pearl; prunus blossoms; pine tree, and crane; and dog staring at moon. Scalloped flange handles. Two character marks in relief on recessed foot. Paste is translucent. Many scratches in surface. Matched with 9-12739. Height 9.8 centimeters, maximum diameter 17.7 centimeters.
