- Huipil-Sobre: Backstrap-loomed, warp predominant plain weave. Single and two-faced supp. weft brocading. Two pieces, joined front, back, underarm seams by randa; warps cut and hemmed. Head hole cut out and slit, hemmed, sleeves bound with velvet.

- MATERIALS, TECHNIQUES: Backstrap-loomed with cotton threads: singles in dark blue. Suppl. weft in silk floss and cotton. Iconography is geometric horizontal bands. CONTEXT OF USE: Central band called "arco grande" in San Antonio Aguas Calientes. Some other similar designs woven in San Antonio in different colors. Randas at sides and arco grande in purple, green and gold in central band indicate ceremonial use. Head decoration has been taken off. White suppl. weft yarn called "rayon" by the Maya (Arriola de Geng). brocaded bands. see also 3-29620, 3-29623 CONSERVATION: good, although some wear in the suppl. weft
