Description:
Coiled basket fragment. Per Ralph Shanks: Rightward work direction with a three rod foundation, probably willow. The weft material is also probably willow. On one face of the basket many wefts are split. The weft fag ends are clipped. The weft stiches appear to be interlocking. This fragment was found in a drawer that had objects checked out to Larry Dawson.
