Description:
Shawl; turquoise-blue ground with predominantly “gold” metallic patterning, finely woven/. Turquoise warp and weft, plain weave, with narrow gold stripes at borders, and gold with purple, green, blue, orange, and yellow supplementary weft patterning; isolated floral motifs in discontinuous supplementary weft; ca. 2.3 cm border at each end in continuous supplementary weft; warp ends folded over and sewn down; fringe ca. 6.2 cm long, of gold-colored metallic thread looped through double row of twined gold-colored threads, sewn to each warp end.
