Remarks: "Especially interesting because of portrayal of ribbon seal (Histriophoca fasciata). This sp. rarely seen. See foto in Walker, Mammals of the World, v. 2, p. 1305, 1968 2nd ed.; also Nelson illustrates a clothing bag made from a ribbon seal on p. 44, BAE Ann. Rep. #18. Cf. 2-180, 187, 197, 213, 554, 564 and 36894 for other examples.
