- Description:
- Container or float of entire hair sealskin. Paws also skinned out. Left forepaw removed and wood filler-plug lashed on. Mouth, anus, and wound in side sealed with wooden plugs and lashings. Carrying handle lashed to mouth plug. Made with babiche or rawhide. Originally identified as bag for oil or water, this is actually a float for walrus or whale hunting, and occasionally seal.
