Carving / Cabinet piece (?): Ceramic figure representing Fukurokujiu, one of the Seven gods of luck (Shichifukujin). Made of a buff colored clay, w/ white slip. The face is painted buff w/ black eyes, black strokes for beard and red on mouth. The front of his garment is painted green w/ red sleeves. His tall head is chipped The short body is flat, the base is flat & oval w/ hole in middle. H. 5 cm.
