Small netsuke in dark brown ivory, of two little women standing together-- one facing, the other backing. The two [are] the wives of the emperor Shun [mentioned in comment of 9-7945]. Wo Huang and Nu Ying. The Chinese called him Hsiang-fu-jen, meaning "double-husband man." The women have very studied head dresses.
