4" x 5" Negative. Hut at Kapsabet, Nandi Reserve. Hoefler's original description: "Native hut, Kasabet. Nandi Reserve. Within this hut, after the dance in celebration of the lion killings, Hoefler spent four days with fever until removed twenty-eight miles through the bush to Eldoret. Hoefler and Austin are shown standing near the hut.
