A white cube of chalk. Native name: "ipoti" or "bapotee". This would have been moistened and rubbed across the forehead during Hindu religious rituals. Cubes of chalk were sold by vendors with incense and other ritual and religious paraphernalia. Width approximately 4.3 cm.
