Purse, pandanus leaf, rectangular box shape; vertical with flap extending over top and down front; cowrie shells on flap and top; loop closures; warp and weft woven into geometric design in purple, orange and brown; double braided carrying handles (2); height - 18 cm, width - 18 cm, depth - 12 cm. Collected while Evansizer served in Mashall and Cook Islands with Atomic Energy Project. Hold in one side of flap; faded and bleeding colors.
