- Portrait doll of Mohawk warrior, Joseph Brant. H = 9.5”. Composition doll with molded head & painted features. Hand dressed in “dirty” white leggings to hip, green felt kilt & black wool tunic w/ yellow design. Red “Hudson Bay Blanket” over shoulders. Leather sash. Turkey feather headdress. Necklace of clay, simulating claws, seeds & bones. Blue & white paint on face. On stand inscribed with “Joseph Brant, 1742-1807”.
