4 x 5" Negative. Rajpipla, India. Prisoners being fed at the Central Jail. Hoefler's original description: "Rajpipla, India. The prisoners is the Rajpipla Central Jail are fed twice daily on a weighed and balanced diet. The utmost simplicity is observed, the food being served on one large plate, the prisoner using his fingers and pieces of bread in place of the usual table equipment. The Central Jail is, in fact, the State Penitentiary. It is well kept and very clean." (Prints Supplied To: International News.)
