Jicara, gourd bowl from calabash tree (Crescentia); lacquered black outside, red inside with thickened band of red lacquer 2.7 cm wide around the rim outside; brush painted decoration of plant, animal and geometric motifs in concentric bands, some bands of gold leaf inside, silver (tarnished) inside, figure of ocelot in bottom; some flaking of lacquer; diameter 18 cm, height 9 cm
