Vase, porcelain: "ox-blood" glaze, baluster shape. Bulbous, high waist tapering down to slightly flared base; narrow neck with flared mouth. Exterior color ranges from white at mouth to cherry red on neck and waist, to deep maroon at base. Fine dark streaks on lighter portions. Interior white, crazed at mouth. Recessed foot glazed, white with brown crackles. Glaze-run on foot filed down. Probably inaccurate dealer's sticker on bottom attributing to K'ang-hsi reign. Height 41.3 cm; maximum Diameter 20 cm.
