- Description:
- Cup bowl decorated with three crayfish. Height 11.2 cm.; diameter 19.3 cm. Painted in five colors. Because of the great deterioration of the vessel it is difficult to tell the colors in some portions. All the crayfish have white legs. The remainder of the bodies vary in grey, purple, and black on a red background. The entire interior is red and the bottom is unslipped. The vessel was cracked in antiquity and repaired by tieing through one pair of mend holes. Illustrated by Kroeber, 1956, Figure 9b, p. 386. Mended.
