Comment:
The combination of technical features and use of bullrush root black material would narrow down the attribution to the area between the northern Chumash and the Salinans. It differs from our Antoniano Salinan pieces only in the trimming of fag ends. The use of bullrush root by Salinans is assumed from an old undocumented basket whith technical features peculiar to the Salinans, having both bracken and bullrush material." fide Lawrence E. Dawson.
