Description:
Iron grater or scraper for coconut and cassava; rectangular with rounded handle. Used by women; held in left hand, coconut meat in right. Used in making “Lapek Ubi,” a sticky cassava wrapped in banana leaves or dendeng ragi, grated coconut. Fried with meat and spices from Sungai Puar. Length 24.7 cm.
