Mask, helmet type. Ntene wood, hollow. Upthrust head of man covered with light green wash (?). Open mouth, protruding chin, aquiline nose, painted irises and eyebrows. Tear drop shaped trepanned area (not cut through skull) covering area from behind left ear to top of cranium. Colored dark blue. Height circa 20.5 cm, Width 17.9 cm, Length 25.0 cm. From East Africa, Tanzania, Bantu, Makonde, near Dar-es-Salaam.
