Deep rectangular container of brass with two compartments, four feet each with coin roller. Used by women in ever “Abat” ceremony as “Sirih” cup or tray for “Sirih” (betel); sometimes combined with “Pinang” (Areca nut) and “Sadah” (betel lime) for presenting “Sirih” (betel). “Sirih” cup is a symbol of respect and is presented in every “Abat” ceremony; when important officials enter village at time of ceremony; they are met and offered “Sirih.” 24.3 x 13.3 cm.
