Kife: steel knife with wood handly in wood scabbard with cord. (a) Knife. Handle badly damaged by termites. Length 42 cm. (b) Scabbard. Scabbard is still new. Length 36 cm. Width 7.5 cm. General work knife, chopping wood, cleaning, light digging. Carried whenever leaving house area. Handle and scabbard made locally by men. Blade obtained from Chinese blacksmiths. Used by anybody. This specimen nearly worn out but still in use at time of acquisition. Cost in U.S. dollars: 1.88.
