Mask, helmet type. Ntene wood, hollow. Head of man with deformity above forehead. Trepanned area (Length circa 13.0 cm, Width 6.0cm) not cut through bone. Colored in dark blue pigment. Hooded eyelids, painted eyebrows, everted lips, protruding chin, flaring nostrils, and open mouth with pointed teeth. Height circa 19.5 cm, Width 16.9 cm, Lenth 24.2 cm. From East Africa, Tanzania, Bantu, Makonde, near Dar-es-Salaam.
