Description:
Imperial Era silk sleeve band; patterned tan silk ground emboridered w/ flowers, leaves, rocks, in multiple colores of green and blue (leaves) and pinks (flowers); large peony in center. Panel is bordered by black cotton bands edged with off-white edging on inner and outer edges. Backing cloth is a type of sack material (rough, plain weave), possibly hand spun and loomed.
