- Description:
- Deep bottom bowl decorated with beet-shaped fruits having long white stems. Height 11.0 cm.; diameter 20.8 cm. (estimate). Painted in five colors. The fruits are painted in two colors, half orange and half purple; stems are white and background black. The design only covers two thirds of the wall, and the remainder of the vessel including the interior is dark red. This vessel is in very fragmentary condition and the paste very crumbly. Much of the paint is flaking off. Mended, incomplete.
