Comment:
Collector: "Selected by G. H. Pepper". Remarks: "2 E" "3532-3633 All sandals and other articles in this group were found in cliff or cave houses or in the debris in the same caves. As both Cliff and Cave Dwellers have inhabited most of the caves we are unable to say which tribe made the different kinds of work. Howerver, we are inclined to think that the cave-dwellers made most of the cloth sandals." Hazzard Inventory: Four Corners Region, Cliff Dwellers
