Blade; gray stone, lightly streaked; polishing on both sides; length 8 cm. Used for cutting away small scrub when the soil was cleared for gardens. Possibly a planing blade worn out from long use. Inserted in axe-shaped and adze-shaped handles indiscriminately. Archaeological patination. Native name: utukema (attributed). Made of metamorphosed basalt.
