MATERIALS, TECHNIQUES: Backstrap-loomed with cotton threads, singles ixcaco. Suppl. weft with cotton, wool, and silk floss CONTEXT OF USE: Front and back have different chest designs; one side geometric squares and parallelograms; other side geometric with floral designs. Three rows of white wefts at bottom of one side, two groups of three rows of white wefts on other side. Patches on both sides of chest area near arm opening of back-loomed cloth. Dating relates to use of geometric motifs and simple floral designs (Arriola de Geng). CONSERVATION: Creya area good.; suppl. weft very worn.
