Country: People’s Republic of China Description: The front is decorated with two figures in bamboo grove in a combination of stamps and hand painting. The reverse is inscribed with four characters. Gold bowstrings around foot and rim. Inscription: Body: Bamboo shadows, light breeze (竹影清风 zhu ying qing feng); Kiln mark on foot has poor calligraphy (as if someone was copying characters that they were not sure of): “Famous porcelain 8 of Jingdezhen, Jiangxi” (江西景德镇名瓷 Jiangxi Jingdezhen mingci 8) Place of Origin: Jingdezhen, Jiangxi Province Condition: Good, some wear on the painting.
