The state elephants are here shown dressed in their robes of splendor, each of them carrying enough gold and silver and precious jewels to form the basis of a very comfortable fortune. Photograph was taken before the commencement of the procession on the occasion of the birthday of His Highness The Maharana of Udaipur.
