Bowl. Tag "tcunus" and on the back "Lassik". Second tag "Lassik". Third tag "Lassik". Per Ralph Shanks: Twined basket cooking pot, used, with residue present. Crossed warp starting knot, dissimilar to Northwestern California starting knots. Peeled shoot, possibly willow warps and conifer root wefts with an overlay of beargrass. Starting at the starting knot there is three strand twining for 1 inch, followed by plain twining to the rim. The rim is trimmed. The overlay design is diagonal bands of stacked parallelograms, with a horizontal border above and below. The workface is on the exterior. The overlay design is primarily on the exterior face with some design evident on the interior. The basket undulates. The basket has a rightward work direction and an up to the right slant of weft twist.
