- Coiled, plate shape. Tag "69 [inside a diamond] Insurance List. Mission Southern Calif". Tag on bottom "69 Mis". Per Ralph Shanks: Coiled basket bowl. Bundle foundation. The background wefts are tan juncus. The design wefts are orange and black dyed juncus. The designs are three zoomorphic designs including a bird as well as some abstract shapes. The basket has an interior workface and the work direction is to the right. The weft fag ends are primarily bound under. The rim is plain wrapped with a tapered coil ending.
