Mask, helmet type. Ntene wood, hollow. Upward tilted head of man with bat-shaped trepanned area over frontal lobe (recessed, but not pierced). Pigmented black hooded eyes, with black pigmented irises and eyebrows. Everted lips and open mouth with carved teeth (central one pigmented black). Height 18.5 cm, Width 17.0 cm, Length 22.6 cm. From East Africa, Tanzania, Bantu, Makonde, near Dar-es-Salaam.
