Description:
Per Ralph Shanks: Mush bowl/ soup bowl, overlay of beargrass horizontal zig-zag design near rim on conifer root weft. Reinforced double band, latice twined. Three strand twining on bottom. The rest is plain twining. The basket was burned from a hot stone. Older, probably anthropologist collected. The rim is damaged. Based on description this is 1-1203, but the picture needs checked. Other possible match is 1-22562
