Context of use:
Part of traditional costume. Worn in winter or when cold around calf of leg over stocking of women. (Younger women wear this brighter, more decorated type.) Basic material is Klasnja, felted woven wool cloth. Made by Terzija, professional tailors of folk costume. Similar costume piece by same name is worn by males. Still in use by some of population at time of collection (1964).
