Yarn amulet; short tied length of brown and white hand-spun goat's wool yarn; 2 small hanks joined together. This amulet was tied on the wrists of a bride or groom at the time of the wedding ceremony in order to ward off the evil eye. These amulets were sold in pieces, as well as halves, by vendors of religious and ritual paraphernalia. Length of each hank approximately 9 cm.
