German silver bowl. Shallow, globular in shpae; incised Gujerati inscription translates as "AJD 1285" (1916 AD). Native name "German no kasyo". Used by priests for tea etc. while engaged in prayers when crockery is forbidden. Even this is handled with cloth or gloves to avoid pollution.
