Description:
Chinese brown glazed stoneware. Spouted (of 'soy sauce') jar. Note wheel marks on base. The spout is applied and poked through the body wall (feel it!). The spout was sealed with clay for transportation. A common element of overseas Chinese occupation sites. This form is still made.
