Description:
4 X 5" Black and white negative of family bathing in the river. Hoefler's original description: "Island of Ceylon. On the edge of a rubber plantation a Sinhalese family pause for bathing purposes. Although Ceylon is a small Island it has some large rivers, and needs them all, for during the wet season the daily rainfall is enormous.
