Comment:
According to Victoria Jensen (2021-11-13), "Provenience should be Room 222, Northern Kom (Northern Palace). This painted sherd bears an original field mark of 222 but it was not recorded in Reisner's notes from Tomb 222 and the handwriting is not Reisner's. It dates to the Roman/Coptic period, suggesting that the provenience should be Room 222 from the North Palace, which was excavated by F.W. Green. Green did not record the finds from this room in his notes, but Coptic material culture was found throughout the palace from its reuse as a monastery.
