Missing
: Hearst Museum object titled Blade, accession number 9-16764, described as Dirk. Pommel is flanged in convex form; grip recessed to hold inlay, now lost. The honed blade tapers, convexing more in the central section; edges are nicked and exhibit loss from corrosion. A prominent rectangular (in section) mid-rib extends from a penannular rib placed at the top of the blade. Patina varies from dark shiny brown to glittery golden to areas of dusty green. L. 36.6 cm; L. of blade 27.5 cm; L.of hilt 8.5 cm; W. 5.5 cm

Blade has a square broad shoulder, tapering to a point without mid-rib; edges honed. The guard projects and is thickened. Green patina. Max.L. 35.5 cm; L.of handle 10.5 cm
