Per Ralph Shanks:  Sunshade is redbud with horizontal bands of diagonal twining, 2 of which contain redbud.  Redbud is used to attach the warp sticks to the top of the sunshade. Front edge of sunshade covered in canvas.  Slant of weft twist is up to right on shade and main body of cradle.  Cloth tie downs on side of cradle back has larger cloth strap.
