: Hearst Museum object titled Bolas, accession number 2-4314, described as 6 oval bone balls attached to plaited sinew cordage. Six tear-drop shaped bone carved pieces, drilled at narrow end and attached with a braided sinew string. Leftmost bola with incised line. Native name: yaqulecuun. Vacuumed and treated with 50/50 solution in October 1986.

Fletched, bladder missing. Found mis-numbered in 1988 (had #2-6365 on it which belongs to a Kodiak harpoon arrow); ivory socket mortised to take the shaft's distal end; winding of braided sinew; retaining line lashed on shaft down to the lashing of the three. Yup'ik name: nagiiquyaq.
