Fletched, bladder missing. Found mis-numbered in 1988 (had #2-6365 on it which belongs to a Kodiak harpoon arrow); ivory socket mortised to take the shaft's distal end; winding of braided sinew; retaining line lashed on shaft down to the lashing of the three. Yup'ik name: nagiiquyaq.

Hearst Museum object titled Harpoon, accession number 2-6307, described as Harpoon; antler point, barbed on both sides; attached to leather thong, tied to the shaft; bone finger rest shaped like a killer whale dorsal fin is lashed 56 cm down shaft; baculum bone & finger rest lashed to shaft with sinew; retaining line also made of sinew. Used for hunting sea mammals in the summer. Native name: nagiiquyaq.
